In the year 2007-2008 our PTA hopes to accomplish the following goals and initiatives.

Goals

1. Establish "SEPTA Sisters/Brothers Mentoring Program" utilizing the knowledge and expertise of "seasoned " SEPTA Members to assist parents who are new to the special education process
2. Expand Diversity Day to all three Middle Schools and increase participation in Circle of Friends in all of the middle schools
3. Establish a Dad's network so they have the opportunity to network with other SEPTA dads
4. To provide support and resources for the CDSP Nigeria Project with the establishment of a school for children ages 3 to 10 with special needs and a parent support group
5. Increase our membership to 200 active members
6. Increase our awareness of and participation in legislative matters concerning our children
